Cancer Targets

Biosceptre has identified nf-P2X7 on multiple cancer tissues tested to date, including:

  • Prostate
  • Breast
  • Bowel
  • Lung
  • Brain
  • Skin
  • Liver
  • Lymphoma

  • Ovarian
  • Uterine
  • Cervical
  • Bladder
  • Renal
  • Ewing’s
  • Mesothelioma
  • Oesophagus

  • Pancreatic
  • Myeloma
  • Leukaemia
  • Bone
  • Stomach
  • Stromal
  • Thyroid
  • Trophoblastic

Histological studies have demonstrated that nf-P2X7  is only present on the surface of cancerous cells. This highlights the potential of nf-P2X7  as a safe therapeutic target, which minimizes the potential for harmful side effects. The nf-P2X7  receptor has been demonstrated across a variety of species, including cats and dogs.
